MyFamilyWizard.com is a money maker for it's creators, with little care of emphasis to it's clients (Divorced Parents.) I don't know how this product ever got introduced into the US Court System, because it is a very poor product. The Privacy Policy has nothing in it that states you cannot harass, and or threaten etc. I guess that part open. Someone thought this concept up in their "basement" and hired a good "pitch man" to sell it to the Court System, and voila got a nice little contract, with a very very mediocre product. I know because I am a HTML Engineer and would never put out such a poor product, specially when it comes to the lives of people.

Incredible how this product keeps going, seriously it looks like a third grader wrote the "privacy policy" and "terms" MyFamilyWizard was probably invented by some pimple faced teenagers in some dorm room and got lucky with their "pitch man" to seal the deal...Well guess that's America Folks, our Court System is convinced and swayed by most anything anymore....what a shame.

Don't have money to buy some real estate? Don't worry, just because it is available to take the credit loans to resolve such kind of problems. Thus take a short term loan to buy everything you want.

I've been using this website for 4 years. It was court ordered. The one thing me and my ex agree on is that our family wizard has been a lifesaver. I don't know how we'd do it without it. P.S. I've never seen an advertisement on this site.

Divorce is an almost epidemic in Western societies and it creates pain and hurt among our children. But it doesn't have to scar them because on the other side of the pain is joy. But there is a way you must navigate through the pain for you and your children.

Not to mention that it's a few biased courts that order use of this shady product.

If that's really how their service worked, wouldn't they put THAT into their privacy policy, instead of just saying, "Hey, we're going to store your information, and give it to people if they ask for it."

Oh, and btw, it's pretty common in divorce for information to be subpoena'd. So THANKS for storing all that info Our Family Wizard...

IP addresses are stored mostly for the users protection. Because we work with many highly conflictual parents, it is necessary to show the records to be authentic. We have had several cases already in which a parent was able to guess the other parent's account information, because the parent setup an easily guessable username and password, especially since they were once married. The IP tracking empowered us to show that records in question were in fact created falsely by the other parent.

We do not provide any information to any parties without first notifying all parties involved that a request has been made. We don't provide any information to anyone other than the account holder without a subpoena.

In response to the question about what kind of records we provide, we only provide the information necessary to remove conflict. We don't make up any arbitrary statistics about usage. If a parent is over using the site to make the other parent look bad, it will be very obvious that this is the true intention.

Lastly, we don't have any outside advertising offered through the site, other than in our Resources section. There are no banners, adwords or anything else.

Our main goal is to protect children and provide a forum for communication and information sharing in an otherwise strenuous situation. Divorce is not easy, but having tools to help manage the relationship between parents can make it more straightforward.
